a single misinterpretation of the protagonist’s words can make him a cultivation god that everyone worships,

Usually, it all starts with a single misunderstanding, which then creats some more minor misunderstandings,

then as the story progresses these minor misunderstandings end up creating one hell of a misunderstanding,

and in between all this chaos, we have our protagonist, just chilling out his life at a slow pace, completely oblivious to the fact of how much his presence has shaken up the world.

There is no surprise that Beyond Myriad Peoples is on this list, its one of the best manhua (yes it’s a Chinese webtoon) where MC is misunderstood and everyone thinks he’s a cultivation god.

It’s a story of Yi Feng (the protagonist), transmigrated to the world of cultivation with an OP system,

however,

he can’t cultivate because he doesn’t have any spiritual root, which you must have if you want to start a cultivation journey.

So, what he did?

opened a martial art gym,

started selling martial art books and novels,

And started creating SSS-God-Legendery-Whatnot-Rank artifacts. (of course, he didn’t know what he was making.

A single old knife from his kitchen can destroy the whole mountain range, a dog he adopted as a pet is actually a demon king wolf, and everyone has to kneel before him. (of course, he doesn’t know that too)

It’s a story with action, waifus, drama, a cute little skeleton, comedy, and lots of misunderstandings.

6. If I Die, I Will Be Invincible

One day editor of a literary and historical magazine, Ye Qing suddenly traveled to a new unknown world, a world where people cultivate immorality.

not only he became an isekai protagonist, but also got a cheat skill

a skill that gave him just one very simple task, he has to die

If he dies, he will gain immense power and will become invincible, it was indeed an easy task, he just had to offend some big shot and it’s done, they will kill him, easy right,

or at least that’s what Ye Qing thought.

Empress of Zhou fall in love with him and will protect him from any harm,

Immortal rulers from the upper realms think Ye Qing is a saint, the only warm person in this cold selfish world, and they must make sure that Lord Ye lives.

Many misinterpreted Ye Qings actions, thinking he is a saint god, a warm-hearted god, a being with selflessness and it seems like the whole world is there to protect Ye Qing from dying.

A bookstore with all the books in the world in a different world,

or at least that’s what Lin Jie asked when a demon asked him to make a wish.

I’M Really Not The Demon God’s Lackey, is the story of Lin Jie who got isekai and is now an owner of a bookstore with all the books in the universe, truly a dream come true for someone like Mr. Lin.

Recommending and selling books to the customers, and reading books in his free hours, Lin Jie was living his dream life,

however,

Unbeknownst to him, the world he was transported to is a world with magic,

and the books he is recommending and selling are all mythical treasures that can increase readers’ power by many folds.

In I’M Really Not The Demon God’s Lackey, you’ll see each and everyone thinking that MC Lin Jie is too OP and misinterprets his each and every word.

Transfered to another world, a world of cultivation.

then failing to cultivate due to the absence of spiritual roots, had to live with mortals for 5 years,

the plot sounds quite similar to Beyond Myriad People, right?

but don’t lose your interest yet,

because Chen Pingan’s (protagonist) system didn’t abandon him, in fact, it gave him many different tasks in the last 5 years. (from farming chicken to delivering babies)

and now after 5 years

the chicken on his farm became a phoenix (of course he doesn’t know)

The fish in his pond is now a dragon (of course he doesn’t know )

and he is now ready to put his foot in the world of cultivtors,

however for some reason every one no matter how powerful they are, they seem to be afraid of Chen Pingan.

Am I Invincible?….

Be ready to see lots of action, a beautiful female lead, and avalanches of misunderstanding.

3. The Unmatched Powerhouse Just Wants To Farm

Do you know what happens when you cultivates your painting skill to the god level?

Your paintings becomes a pool of qi energy.

What happens when you max out your fishing skill?

You can catch a water dragon.

After cultivating fields like music, art , agriculture and all other basic skills to the god level, our MC is now ready to live a normal and slow life.

However, the bird he hunts for dinner is a legendary hawk, and the fruits he farms are all godly treasures.

and without Chen Fan’s knowledge his house has became a geathering spot of all the bigshots of the world. Will Chen Fen ever going to know how absurdly OP he is, and that everybody things he’s a god?

A very very very ( + very) similar to Beyod Myriad Peoples,

Li Nianfan who was transmigrated to a world where people can cultivate immortality. However his system for some reason is not allowing him to cultivate anything.

And after 5 years Li Nianfan has maxed all the skills like painting, chess, music, martial art, etc. With nothing more to teach Li Nianfan, his system left his body.

However, it build him a house and an AI robot in a remote area as a parting gift, now left without any system, Li Nianfan decided to live his life in peace with a stupid dog and AI.

Unbeknownst to him,

his house is built on a land with abundant cultivation qi, a single slice of the watermelon of his farm can help any cultivator to make a break through the cultivation realms.

I’m actually a cultivation bigshot is very similar to the other manhuas that are mentioned in this list, but it is still a good read and you can try it if you’re carving for a misunderstood MC genre.
