What is the plot of “The Reincarnation Magician Of The Inferior Eyes “?

200 years ago Abel the archmage lead the hero’s party into a battle with the demon lord and successfully subjugated him, however, he was kicked out of the party because Abel and the demons had one thing in common the color of their eyes- Amber colored eyes, the color everyone feared off. After facing this discrimination Abel the strongest magician in human history decided to reincarnate himself into the future in the hope that there will be no such fear for amber eyes in the heart of a future generation. After successfully reincarnating himself 200 years into the future and meeting with an old acquaintance the story of Abel The Reincarnation Magician Of The Inferior Eyes started.

Many things changed after 200 years, there are light bulbs, steamboats, people use special tools called Ragalia to cast magic, the power of magic and magic theories has seen a great recession, and the most important thing that changed after 200 years was people now don’t consider amber eyes as the eyes of the demon, they don’t fear amber eye people but in fact consider it an inferior eye color, an eye color that doesn’t match any element and hence is useless, people with amber eyes are still facing discrimination but for a totally different reason this time.

The Reincarnation Magician Of The Inferior Eyes is a story of Abel an ex-hero, the strongest magician of human history, and how he adapts to his new life as an inferior eye holder.

An isekai is nothing without truck-kun, a fantasy is nothing without elves, and a story is nothing without its characters. GeekWizard evaluates if a manga is good or trash after considering three factors :

  • Art– what’s the point of reading a manga if you’re not even liking its art, right?
  • Leads– They are called male lead and female lead for a reason and if readers can’t even like the leads they’ll simply going to drop the story and will move on.
  • Plot– If the art is good, and the leads are likable then the third element that differentiates gold from trash is the plot. The pace of the story, the wow moments, the mysteries, how many chapters readers are willing to hit the next chapter button, and above all, is the story delivering what it promised to the readers?

We have already discussed the plot so now let’s take a look at the remaining two factors so that you can decide if this manga is what you are looking for or not:

Art

Evaluating an art of any visual comic is very difficult, and the reason is very simple- everyone has a different perspect. Some people like certain kind of art style therefore GeekWizard will give you an rough overview of the art style present in the “The Reincarnation Magician Of The Inferior Eyes” manga.

1. World Art

According to GeekWizard world art is anything that a character interacts with directly or indirectly, from clouds to a trash bin, and in between, even systems are part of world art. World art is an important component of mangas, creating an unfinished world art cheapens the overall manga reading experience. World art in this manga falls under the category of average, it’s not breathtakingly beautiful or unique and it’s not why they even draw it kind of worse. It’s manageable, so, if you’re not looking for a manga with the best world art then you won’t feel much disappointment reading this one.

2. Character Art

GeekWizard won’t beat around the bush for this one and tell you honestly, waifus are beautiful, especially Lilith, her character design is very adorable and her art matches her personality. Every expression of Lilith is drawn very well. Eliza the second waifu is an absolute cutie, she’s a tsundere so expect many Wawa Wawa, aaahhhh, ohohohohoh, and wholesome moments and her art design make all these moments even more wholesome. The only problem in character art is the art design of Abel (the MC). Abels’s art is very blended there is nothing special about his art that makes him stand out from other protagonists.

Leads

The Hero (Abel)

  • He’s not dense like other fantasy manga protagonist
  • He’s smart and calculative.
  • He doesn’t kill people just because they crossed him in the wrong way, but that doesn’t mean he’s a saint.
  • Though he doesn’t show it openly, he does care about his close ones.
  • Did GeekWizard mentioned that he’s the strongest mage in human history, so yah he is OP.

The waifus

  • They are cute in their own ways.
  • Although GeekWizard thinks Lilith is the best.
  • Eliza is a tsundere, so if you hate this type of character, you should think twice before starting this manga because she’s one of the female leads.

Side Characters

  • The most lovable side character so far is Ted.
  • Ted is a character you’ll enjoy reading and will start to care about him as a reader.
  • He’s a pure-hearted soul, dense, and forgives his enemies.
